TRIBUTE VIDEO FOR FLUFF ON FACEBOOK
Riley "The Fluff" is an adorable, fluffy girl that we acquired from a breeder of beautiful show-line dogs in Virginia. We named her Riley, but started calling her The Fluff when she was a puppy and it stuck. So her actual call name is now "Fluff". She was born May 13th, 2016, and has many AKC show champions on both sides of her pedigree, which includes a long lineage of health tested parents. She is light creamy blonde in color and has long, thick fur when it's fully grown out. Despite her light color, she is not of European lines (or what the popular gimmick calls "English creme"), and we really love that her conformation is closer to the American breed standard. She also enjoys the water and has a good retrieving drive, though she's not too interested in competition with the other dogs. Besides a ball, her favorite thing is her "blankie", which she'll proudly bring to us as she wags her tail happily (This might be any soft object, typically a fleece blanket or a towel). She's absolutely beautiful, goofy, sweet and a little pushy about how much she loves us. She's impossible not to love!
Fluff moved with us to Berryville to live with my in-laws while we were building our house in Huntsville. During that time, it was decided that my in-laws loved her enough that they wanted to keep her when we moved. After we lived there for two years, it felt like home to her already, so it was a good situation for everyone. She is very spoiled and loved and we still get to see her very frequently.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, Fluff passed away after a surgery to remove her spleen, which likely had been taken over by lymphoma or another cancer. We were completely devastated. Rest in peace, sweet Fluff. We love you so much.
