CINDER

Cinder is one of our own - she is a daughter of Oakley and Ember. She was born October 5th, 2018, and she is our first keeper pup to be a progeny of Oakley before he becomes old enough to retire from breeding. Her name was inspired by having a meaning similar to Ember's name. She's still very young, but seems to be very smart and has a lot of personality, yet a steady and sweet nature - a wonderful mix of Oakley's energy and goofy personality as well as Ember's cuddly sweetness and retrieving drive. While she's a good little retriever, she's all about the lovin'. She is taller and leaner like Oakley, but with a field coat like Ember. With Oakley being her dad and the reason that we grew a passion for the breed, we're pleased to have a female pup that's looking so much like him.

Update: Cinder showed us that she really had no interest in breeding or being a mom, so we decided not to make her. She also had a little bit of an anxious nature, though extremely sweet. A wonderful family adopted her from us in late 2021 and soon thereafter they also go a puppy companion out of a Willow litter. She's living a wonderful life now and is very loved!
